Hello all,

I wanted to know about the Mobile Dust Extractor.  I saw a demonstration months ago at Allegheny Mill Works in Pittsburgh Pa. at their customer appreciation day. Nice affair but there were so many guys around that it was difficult to evaluate how well this item worked.  I'm looking for reviews of this dust extractor.    Worth the money?  Will it hold up?  I've owned a CT22 since they came out years ago and I've not been disappointed.  The CT has really never left the shop too often but even at is smaller size it can be heavy as I get older.

Thank you and I'll look forward to hearing what all of you have to say.

I can't speak for how long it will last but i can tell you that we use it on daily basis commercially.

We have not used it for any heavy sanding or on any of the TS/HK saws but we use it for light sanding, on the carvex, drilling, and on occasion on the ct wings and it works very well. We love it when we use it for clean up at the end of the day.

I have 2 and did not have any issues with either one.

Hi Magellan

We have been using this in the field since March. Good little rig for clean up and occasional on the tool extraction.

If you hadn't seen it, here is a link to my review which tells more about it and compares it directly to the Mini.

Thank you guys for your reviews.  Scott very well written review.  I'm thinking this vac might be my next FESTOOL purchase.  Light, easy to carry to multiple locations.  Even cleaning the vehicles when needed.

Thank you fellows.

I keep mine in my van for use when my Milwaukee 18V cordless vac is not up to the task.

Thanks, glad you found it helpful

I use mine on small "jobs" all the time. Invest in the long life bag for it, great tool after that!

Cheers. Bryan.
