Festool Apron

My little Toolie, new flashlight and apron came in today. All really well though out products. Who'd a thunk an apron would be well though out? Adjustable, tons of pockets and loops and really comfortable. Totally unlike my Rockler leather one I've had for years. The Toolie has little push blocks to lever out the various drivers and the light has a fuel gauge! Pretty cool and cheap purchase plus the mini Systainer is always nice to have. No if only I'd get a stupid hat.  [wink]

Festools-online.com shows they have caps. I've almost bought one a couple times, I'm a baseball hat junkie, but when I search the hat for images it looks flimsy.

I do wanna get that apron though.
 
I gave a Festool apron during the previous offering to a friend of mine for use while grilling. He has a couple of Webers.

I've see these aprons at JCL Live show in Portland today. First of all, to my surprise, they come in a mini-systainer, which I guess explains the $40 or so price. The apron itself feels tooshort (I am about 6'3"). Quality and design-wise, it is very similar to the Rockler apron ($20) which I have, but that one feels bigger. For me, it is a no-go because of the size. I am tempted to buy one for my 8-year old son, it would fit him nicely as everything else is still too large for him.
 
I got my apron the other day. I think it fits me well. I am 6' 210lbs. I think the apron will be nice for cabinet installs and shop work.
 
Yup...6'01" 210. Fits great. Even over a hoodie. Really comfortable and two of the large pouches fit my hands just right!
 
I picked one up but have not used it yet.  Tomorrow I will setting up a Kapex and might give it a try then.

Sweet! I got mine a couple weeks ago. It is a good size and seems like heavier fabric. I haven't used it yet.
 
I know I'm late to the game as always, but does anyone know where I might still be able to find one of these?  I ordered one online from someone, and they just cancelled the order this morning as they are out of stock.  Thanks

I got the apron and the tape measure in December.  I figured it might be the only Festool stuff I could afford for awhile, with big vacation, and a daughter's wedding coming up.

I like the apron.  Regarding sawdust in the pockets, I just gave it a good shaking.  Not a huge deal except when at the lathe.  Then it seems to just get packed into the pockets. I probably ought to get a smock, but I'm amazed at the prices most places charge.  A Festool one would probably be cheaper, based on the apron cost.
 
Still looking, if anyone sees one hanging around somewhere let me know!
