Festool Connect 2015 in Providence, RI on March 19th

Volume is extremely low.  Unusable on my laptop. Had to run it through an external amp turned way up to be able to hear it.

I've asked the video folks to try to bump the volume.

Will the live stream be able to be viewed after the fact.  My real job is getting in the way on Thursday.

The hope is that it will be published on YouTube after the event. We didn't get that done last year, but I will be talking to our video team tomorrow about that to see if we can make it happen.

I *think* Livestream has an archiving feature too, which we may be able to utilize. I'll share more about that as soon as I have an answer.

Shane

That would be very helpful and seriously expand the audience. Watching all day simply isn't an option for me

A note for people that said the sound was low... to me it seemed the balance was off... I was using headphones and the left channel was fine but the right channel was totally muffled.

Also, when the live stream was killed for lunch, I lost my DVR time-delayed stream also.  [crying]

everything was good up until they went to lunch and was in the middle of watching Gary Katz put the last piece of crown in place and it died.  what else did he do after that please

Why did (or did?) the number associated with a couple of the finalist videos change? Does that mean my vote will go to something different than I meant it to?

To keep it fair, it's randomized every time the page is loaded. So, no one video ends up at the top or the bottom more than another.

Jory, Kayleen and a shot of the crowd/stage.

Excellent! Thanks for the answer!

Great live streaming event! Watching it from the west coast. The show started at 6 am our time. Due to an early morning conference call, I missed the first two hours. When I finally got off the phone and connected, Gary Katz just started his tutorial on the use of miter saw for crown molding. Videography is excellent this time, and coverage on the FOG is great, too!

Is there a program of the presentations somewhere on the web? I am curious what had I missed in the first two hours of the event. Also, is it planned to post recorded presentations of this event on youtube? It would be nice to watch the parts which I missed offline (and not being pressed to do regular work and watch at the same time :) )

Nice touch!

Just got cut off from the live feed again... I'm guessing it's over? I was about 30 minutes behind live.

Was the 90th Anniversary CXS ever shown? They mentioned it a few times but I never saw the cameramen pan up to the screen.

I really don't like the way the stream gets cut off and then kicks me out especially since I'm behind (I'm trying to work and watch as much a I can). I've tried watching twice today. The first time I got kicked out around lunch. I just decided to try again and got about halfway through Kayleen's presentation and just got killed again.

Probably something with your internet provider.  Worked flawlessly for me all day.
