Festool Conturo- Walnut Edge Banding

Hi All,

Does anyone have any advice as to what colour adhesive to use for real walnut edge banding (1 mm).

I always use TB dark when gluing walnut.  Thinking the dark brown is the best choice.

Yeah, the darker color will help. Don't be shocked by how much it takes to "bleed" the old color out when changing.

I got sick of wasting glue pucks when changing from one colour adhesive to another ( on a good day, between 3 or 4 pucks to get the new colour to show consistently)....I imagine changing back from a dark colour such as the dark Brown or Black to the White or Natural colour, may well take even more pucks.

So, I bought a Silicone mould that has 8 puck size recesses in it and just purge the old colour out until I'm happy, then I can re use the pucks when the colour isn't crucial.

It works a treat....

That sounds like a great idea, maybe put a mark on the pod to indicate when close,
