TRIED TO SAW THIS AMAZING fESTOOL TABLE SAW ON EBAY AND IT DID NOT SELL. I KNOW THEIR S ALOT OF FESTOOL JUNKIES OUT THEIR BUT AM I REALLY THE ONLY ONE!

I think I saw it on eBay. Just re-list it, sometimes it just needs to be up for auction longer.

Well, I noticed the auction of the saw on eBay.  You really need to relist it but also take the following into consideration: eBay is all about presentation and the bidder has see everything by the details.  Make the person feel as though they are standing in front the saw.  Also, write more description of the saw.  Most of the time, reserve doesn't sell most of the time.  Your best bet is to make it as an auction with an option of "Buy it now".

Also, remember one thing selling items over $1000 takes patience due to the economy.  You are selling that have a high value which has limited consumers.  It will sell but it will take time as the holidays make people watch money more.

Finally, the more detailed "close up" from all directions the better the sell.

Too bad you haven't found a buyer yet, it still looks brand new. I guess people that are on the fence for buying expensive tools are a bit hesitant to invest now, due to the crisis.

It's a great saw I have about the same setup, minus the sliding table, it's a great jobsite saw, (easy blade change, fairly good dust collection, scms-like crosscut capability(more with sliding table), adjustable riving knife, zero clearance insert,...) what makes the fact that it's 220V also a drawback for potential buyers.

Your eBay feedback transactions of one (1) is probably the biggest stumbling block.  I suggest selling (or buying) a few more items that are no more than a few bucks, just to get your feedback rating up past 15 or more.  The more solid (which is number of transactions, not just 100% positive) your feedback rating the more buyers are willing to purchase a high value item.  Buyers are looking for a solid track record before they are willing to plunk-down $1500+ for a tool offered by someone they haven't met.

Personally, I won't buy a $10 item from someone with less than 10 transactions.   I have been burned a few times by newbie eBayers. 

If you really need it sold NOW, I suggest asking a friend with at least 100 transactions to sell it for you on consignment. 

The other FOG member suggestions, such as good, clear, close, pictures will help as well.

I won't bid on an item with a hidden reserve ------I feel like it's not worth the effort and time..  Either do  a buy now or best offer or set your reserve as the starting bid and carry on.

I'd also recommend you use purchase with PayPal - seeing an item requiring a check be mailed and cleared would turn me off from buying.

Good luck - looks like a nice saw.  I too would recommend more photos and more closeups.  I'd also suggest you convert the metric measurements to inches to make it easy to figure out.

Where it's sold this rig retails for around $2850 US doesn't it?  Ouch.  You can get the SawStop contractor with all the bells and whistles with an after market sliding table for that.  Still, it is a Festool and it is a very cool rig and portable so I too am surprised some well healed Festoolian didn't snap it up.

Don't mean to pry but are you selling it because you are going with a different saw?  Cause if I had this I don't think I'd be in the market.  This has to be one of the best portable table saws in the world. 

One other question.  Does the miter gauge have positive locks that don't wiggle like the MFT's.

If you convert the  current UK price  it's $ 2,343.09 US (price of the setversion+little wheels @1 GBP = 1.55998 USD)(I checked this because I heard the pound was very low at the moment, and some think it will go to parity with the Euro (it used to be 1.50 Euro, now it's about 1.10 Euro)

He says at the ebay auction page he replaced it 2 years ago with a (not so portable) felder (it's the green thing in the background on one of the pics
One other question.  Does the miter gauge have positive locks that don't wiggle like the MFT's.
The miter guage is the same as that on the mft3, it does have positive stops, but you can lock it anywhere, the stops don't wiggle, but you can flex the fence if you're not careful

The left miter guage is the standard one on the CS70, the one on the right is the mft3 fence. The fence profile on the mft3 fence is longer, but the part the miter guage itself is on is shorter.

Thanks for everyones ideas and suggestions on selling my CS70 on ebay. I will plan to list it again when I get a chance to set it back up again and take more photographs. It has been put back in storage after I posted it on ebay.  I will take all your ideas into consideration when I write my description. Thanks again

I don't know what your reserve was. My maximum did not reach it and I was not interested in bidding against myself. If you contact me we can talk about an old-fashioned purchase. All's well that ends well.

btw I forgot to mention this earlier, but I found that the transport wheels work better when they are mounted the other way round than in the instruction leaflet (wheels facing the rear), this way they wont't interfere with the other pair of legs when you fold them up.
Other advantage is that all four feet of the saw stay in contact with the floor, giving better stability when sawing than having the rear of the saw resting on the wheels. If you need to move the saw, just lift the front, then the saw will rest on the wheels, and the rear feet are lifted from the ground.
