Festool CSC 50 with Jessem Clear Cut Stock Guides

Hello everyone, in another thread I posted some images of a way to both extend the height / length fence of the CSC 50 and add the very useful Jessem Clear Cut Stock guides (table saw version).

This can be done more elegantly, but I wanted to get a version set up quickly and this, as pictured, works well. As recommended by user BBoss I used coated multiplex.

Here some images of how I added the multiplex to the aluminium extrusion. One could not drill the original fence, but I decided to buy a second one and permanently attach the jessem guides / wooden fence to be sure it's as accurate as possible.

Edit: attaching images to a post here really isn't easy.

Buying a Domino...Better late than never.

(Or, if it had to be late, better be really really late, so late that you would have the clones available to compare and decide what to buy.)

It's called Siebdruck Multiplex in Germany.

Thank you sir! I'll see if I can find something similar in Australia. Looks like it has a low friction coefficient?

It's very slippery on one side. I also bought some aluminium which I would have used otherwise, but the Siebdruck works really well.

I am still very happy with the solution, I cut a lot of strips of Multiplex now and it is amazing to me how precise the combination of the CSC 50 and the Jessem guides is.

Thanks. Did you use 18mm? Also, Can you share a couple more photos of exactly how you attached it to the fence?

Disregard - I see you've screwed it in from the backside.

Yes it's 18mm.

I am not sure it's necessary to screw it in, but I didn't see a reason not to do it. It's also attached with two t-nuts to the top of the fence, through the existing holes in the Jessem rail (and the plywood). The t-nuts are the ones that came with the Jessem Guide, but I ground them down a tiny bit to make them fit the festool fence.

Here you can see the hole to adjust the t nuts:
