Hello to all,,,first post here on this sight. I've done some research(inconclusive) on the web and a search here. I'm looking at a Festool CT Mini vacuum as well  as a Fein turbo 1. I've read where the Fein has had latch problems, where the two halves of the unit are not snug, and not manufactured in Germany. I'm pretty much sol on the Festool unit. Any way,,, I'm a home owner looking at this  for my house. I won't be buying accessories, only using the Fein multimaster. I have read where the Fein dust attachment for the tool has come unclipped from the tool. Does anyone else use this combination? Positives/negatives?

Dust collection on the Fein, like most multitools, is kind of difficult due to inherent design issues. I've found you're better off most of the time placing the vac hose near the cut. You could also experiment by getting one of those hose adapter heads that acts as a large, rectangular dust chute, the type people sometimes set up on their router tables when template routing.

I have three of the older, variable suction control models as well as a Midi and a CT 26.  The only real difference I find is that the Fein connectors are not as nice as the Festool ends.  As far as the Multimaster, I have the MM, a corded and cordless Supercut.  I have the dust extractor attachment for the Supercut and it works great (and should work with the Vecturo).  I recently used the Super and vac attachment to cut out drywall for a set of french doors and had minuscule amounts of dust escape.

Is the DE better on the Supercut? It certainly is not great on my MM350

Does anyone know for sure if the Supercut vac attachment works with the Vecturo?  I have wondered this for a while.  I'd like to get a Vecturo and DE might push me over the top.  I was actually quite surprised the Vecturo did not have DE given the importance Festool places on removing dust at the source.
