Festool customer service is the best

Just wanted to post a quick thank you to Festool's service department.  I called today stating the grinding noise my Kapex was making.  I mentioned that I bought the Kapex thru Craiglist.  They quickly mentioned that they would send me a new spring and handle set.  I stated that the miter scale was gouged also.  They will also send that.  Then I told him the plastic clearance insert was bowing up.  They sent that also.  All for free.  I was overwhelmed and thankful.  I asked him that I would like to buy a t-loc insert for my 1010 router.  He looked it up and came back saying that they will throw that in for free also due to my inconvenience.

It just goes to say, you get what you pay for.  I never have balked on the price of my Festool products.  One top notch company.
 
Nothing like it..Best company in the US, hands down..It's one of the big reasons I just keep buying and buying and buying and buying and buying..Ehhemm. Sorry. Glad to hear those fellas resolved your problems. They are a great bunch!
 
That is truly outstanding service.  

It does make good sense though.  May make a loyal new customer and keeps the Kapex you have looking and working good for others to see.
