Festool D 36x7 and Festool 203430 Compact Cleaning Set?

I have a CT26, a 27mm hose, and the 203430 Compact Cleaning Set.

I want to buy a Festool 500685 Braided Sleeve Antistatic Hose, 36mm X 7m and am wondering if the cleaning set parts will fit right on to the new hose.

I have a CT22 and the cleaning kit it came with.  I can use it with my 36mm hose.  The hose connectS over the hose adapter, instead of inside with the 27mm hose.  It should work.

It says it works with both hose sizes.

Not sure if it is still the case, but the Planex hose did not fit the Compact kit.

In case any one finds this question/answers thread in the future.

I purchased the Festool 500685 36mm X 7m Braided Sleeve Antistatic Hose, and it does it fit very well with the 203430 Compact Cleaning Set.

In fact, the locking bayonet connections fit the 36mm hose perfectly, where as the bayonet structures seemed superfluous and inapplicable when using the cleaning set with the 26mm hose that is supplied with the CT26.

Since the redesign of the plastic angled hand piece in the cleaning sets, all D27 and D36 hoses, including the black Planex hose, are compatible.

The price of a Sys 1 alone is ~$75, so the cleaning set is only another $25 and it's certainly worth that.

The set I have I use in the shop and I don't stow it in the Systainer. I repurposed the Systainer to hold other tools. I am thinking of getting another set and keep it in the Systainer with the CT-SYS for use away from the shop.

Since I only use my CT-SYS for small clean ups I just added a couple attachments into the modified Systainer top unit. Keeping everything contained in one unit as small as possible.

I use the heck outta my cleaning set, I swap between the 27mm and the 36mm hose depending on which one Im using at the time. I did buy the accessory brush for it to clean dust off me Kapex and CT/Workstand etc
