Festool DC hose to Kreg jig DC?

anybody have a solution for attaching the (26 mm?) festool hose to the plastic DC hood that comes with the Kreg jig?

Hi,

You can see my set up in post #19 in this thread. http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/what-non-festool-items-have-you-got-to-work-with-your-ct/  I used the two PVC elbow (with some reaming to make them fit) so that the hose would be dropped down low along the table edge  out of the way when putting pieces in / out with one hand.

When you hook this up it will create enough suction through the holes to help hold pieces while you throw the clamp.  [smile]

There was a previous post regarding non-Festool hoses. I picked up a 36mm, blue hose from Lowes for around $30.00 to use with my Kapex. It fits perfectly to both the vac and saw. Also, as a bonus there are some additional fittings in the box. One of which is a 1.25 to 1.5 coupler perfect for fitting the Kreg Jig to the Festool 27mm hose. Works great plus you get two for one.

I've just taken a piece of bicycle inner tube twice the length of the port on my k3 and doubled it on the piece of plastic pipe sticking out. This enables push fit of my 36mm. Festool Hose.
