Just made a batch  of 14mm  from ash.
Did the  sizing  on my band saw  which was accurate    and then ran them  through my spindle moulder  using a cutter set on the euro cutter block. Then a slight skim  through  my thicknesser  on one side only. The  rough  saw marks  mostly remaining  which should  aid the glue up.
The cutter set  just by chance was the exact  radius  I needed.
Very chuffed  indeed. [smile]

A burnishing wheel  like the ones  made by metabo  should  ruffle the sides...https://www.metabo.com/uk/en/access...es-for-burnishing-machine/wire-round-brushes/

Did another batch today. 14 meters.
Which  would cost  100  quid from axminster  tools.
Completed  them in 25 minutes.

Im going to start making them out of different species for through dominos. The colors of the different species will pop the thru dominos on drawer sides.
Im going to have enough black walnut left over to make batches of them for my next project.
Once I get the process down it will be easy to do.
