Hi Everyone

Festool have lent me some bits and pieces for video work. The first piece is the Duo Working Light:

The next video will be the HK55 and HKC55 joint video. Unfortunately my jobsite location has moved on beyond the roofing stage and so that will be workshop based.

My work has been slowed down as I lost my voice for just over a week - much to my wife's relief !

Have a happy and peaceful Christmas.

Peter

Another great video.  Recently bought the smaller light for £120, and I'm very happy with its performance and the bigger light not required YET.
May I take this opportunity to return your festive gesture, and wish you a very happy Christmas, and a prosperous NY.
Also, a personal thanks from myself for your continued advice and support over the last year.

Hi James

I have had some YouTube feedback and the lack of a 110v version for the UK seems to be an issue but I do not know whether that is just around the corner. The other criticism is the price but then we would all expect that to be the case.

Thank you very much for being so kind - I will do my best to help anyone.

Cheers,

Peter

Nice video, PP.

Some may not be familiar with IP ratings. Here's a link if you want to learn more...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_Code

Hi Shane

I did a video about a ruggedized mobile telephone (IP67) and so did some research first. Obviously one would not dip the Duo into a tub of water but it should be okay in a water jet - so my squeegee water bottle and the odd drop of rain should be fine. I was a little naughty pulling the Duo around by the mains lead as Festool do not recommend this - but it survived, of course.

Take care.

Anyone who criticises festool on price is in the wrong market. Keep your price as high as it needs to be, to ensure a continued supply of exceptional tools!! There are already enough basic brands out there, and for festool to go that way would be a tragedy, much like if rolls Royce started making $50,000 sedans and suv models because the general population couldn't afford them.. Just my $0.02 worth.. :-P
