Festool dust extraction with Bosch jigsaw

Hi,
I have the Bosch 1590EVSK Jigsaw; I was ignorant of Festool when I bought it. 

I recently got the Bosch chip extraction/vacuum kit.

In order to hook up my Festool CT 33E hose, I have to really force the male Bosch dust discharge end into the 2.5cm Festool female vacuum end.  I sorted through all my adapters and don't have one to make them hook up easily.

Any ideas please?

Without having tried this myself, if say go ahead and force it if it actually fits. The 27mm tool end on that hose is pretty flexible and it has to stretch quite a bit to fit the 1010 router. If you feel it's not a reasonable amount of force I'm sure other forum members may have more informed advice.
