When you say Mirka and 3M and they're not sticking to your ETS, I'm going to presume you're talking about Mirka AbraNet and 3M CubitronII Xtract (especially since all the YouTubers hype Xtract). And you used either of those for a while and they worked fine. Then one day, they started to be loose or even flinging off the pad, right?
If so, you've essentially, "melted" the hook and loop on your ETS sanding pad and you'll have to replace it. You can get a new one from pretty much any Festool dealer. If you want the OEM pad that is "medium" in hardness (but called "soft" in the catalog), you'll want the ST D125-M4-SW. The SKU is 492282 and these are $53. Yeah, it sucks - I know. I did the same thing when I first started using an ETS EC 150/5 and AbraNet. You're also going to want to buy the PP D125/2 Protection Pad (203344) for $11. Use the Protection Pad on your sanding pad every time you use a net abrasive. Use it religiously and your sanding pad will last a long time. Another alternative if you think the $53 is a lot (and I think it kinda is), then there are 3rd party sanding pads on Amazon for quite a bit cheaper. I think the used ETS 125 EQ I have the seller replaced it with a 3rd party pad. It works perfectly fine but the hook and loop does feel more secure and more difficult to pull the paper off than the OEM.
