What is the best extrac tor  to buy for site work .how does the festool extractors compare to the milwauker 18 v cordless one .i have milwaukee red litium batteries .just wondering what one to buy next thanks in advance

I have the Milwaukee and really like it. .  I've used my mine with my Festool sanders, the 850 planer, with my grinders for concrete cutting, and with my Milwaukee 18V steel cutting saw.

I use a ct midi for site work.  Its smaller size makes it easy to carry in and out of homes and doesnt take up alot of space in the truck.  I keep the cleaning kit systainer on top and carry the whole thing as one unit.  I use to have a ct22 and it was to big in my opinion to carry in and out of homes.  I do not have any experience with the milwaukee system.

One can make a cogent argument in a number of different ways.

The big units are big, so smaller is easier to move, but the bags fill up fast.
The dust deputy type units can remove a lot of debris before the vac.
Almost any vacuum is steps ahead of no vac.
Then having a vac which not stolen is a plus.

These days almost every vac will hook up to most sanders.
Sticking with the Milwaukee makes sense.
If it was to be a FT then the smaller units makes sense.
I have a CT-26, which is as large as I would want to go, but if I had a stack of red batteries then...(??)
