I was hanging out at my local Woodcraft chatting it up with one of the employees, and I noticed a mug sitting on a decorative display shelf that caught my eye. Low and behold it was a Festool stein! I have no idea how long I have passed by it and just never noticed. It had a price tag and so I jumped on it! Will enjoy drinking out of this nice ceramic mug.

That's a great find...good for you. Now I'm jealous, I want one too  :'(

Good Find!  That actually is a Festool Beer stein without the lid.  They were offered both with and without.  Feel free to drink coffee out it if you wish.  [big grin]

Thanks Peter,  May have to use it for coffee in the mornings and clean it out for a good German Brew in the evenings! :)

Or good Canadian beer.  Here is my stein with the lid attached and filled with the beer from a local brew-pub:

When they were offered a few years ago, I bought four with the intention of giving them as Christmas gifts. Well....., by the time Christmas rolled around, they were lost somewhere in the house.  Since then they were spotted twice and before Christmas came around..., yup, ypou guessed it, they were lost again.

Right on time, last summer they were spotted once more, but this time, I put them under the bed so I would know where they were and this past Christmas there they were, under the tree for all to see.  Two are being used as beer mugs, one for tea and another for milk or coffee.

Enjoy your find.
