Really nice!  From the picture, it looks as if one set of legs is turned and the other dimensioned?  Am I not seeing correctly, or is this the case?  And if so, benefits?

Ya know thats nice. I have a MFS and put a work station on it. So I got the pad left over. Thats a great idea. maybe Ill make one. After all the pad for the seat is just sitting inna box

Really nice execution...especially like the little pockets. [cool]

I will let [member=32795]VW MICK[/member] answer, but my guess is that most of the sitting would be on the side with dowel legs.  Added strength and all.

cheers.  Bryan.

The legs are a quadrant machined with this scarey router bit [attachimg=1]

should make a tray at the bottom to fit some systainers. [tongue]

Sweet!  Where'd you get the pad from?  A nd could I ask what the process was for doing the trays -- in particular, what the setup was for following the radius/profile on the edge?  Did you make a template/jig first?

Yes the pad is quite soft

Everyone that has come around likes it. Doesn't look like it is going to make it up the workshop

This is the pad I think it was only about £21

I made a jig and used a fluting cutter with a top bearing. Then used a straight bit
To clean out the rest. Sorry didn't take any photos of that process
