I currently have a Metabo rotary for restoring paint on cars.  I love the weight of this machine compared to that of a DeWalt.  Now I want to go with a Festool and step it up a little.  Any of you guys have knowledge on which one I need to buy for this application, I'm new to Festool but I've only heard great things.  There are certain jobs where I like to use the DeWalt, but I want to add two lightweight polishers to my arsenal.  Where is a place to get the best deal?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I was just looking at Detailed Bliss and they actually made the Shinex available in The AU before the U.S.  I really like the smaller one theybhave as well.  I'll keep an eye on it.  They say you can convert it to the voltage for the states just like they have to convert there's for the Porter Cable, but I feel this would decrease the lifespan of the machine.

Mike:

I lived in Houston for about 25 years and was just in Pearland last weekend. Now I live in Austin. I'd be happy to help you out if I can. Maybe we can arrange something where you can try the Rotex(es)?
