Festool hose and non Festool equipment

I recently bought the Festool MiDi dust extraction. I want to know if they’re is a connector I can buy that will connect the hose to my Clarke American sanders edger which has a 2 inch hole

you can get adapters that work.  For a couple of my tools I had to do some custom work on them to get the hoses to fit but they work great.

Another good option is to find a 3D model of the adapter you need and have it printed...  I've done that for my Kreg pocket hole jig and a miniature table saw that I have...  a quick Google search usually turns up options, and there are quite a few sites that you can upload the file and have the parts printed and mailed to you if you don't have a place to get things printed locally...

If you're anywhere near a Rockler check out their vacuum adapter kits.  They are nearly 'universal' as Rockler claims.

a Bosch VAC004 adapter *might* do the job.  On the smaller end it will accommodate both the 27mm and 36mm hose ends that Festool uses.  On the large end it appears the ID is slightly over 2" if you look through the reviews.  It may require a few wraps of electrical tape or silicone tape to make up the gap and keep the adapter attached to the machine.
