Hi there I am new to this forum,

I recently purchased a new Festool CT 15 E, model number: 577413.

What I have been told the new 2022 model is suppose to come with an Anti Static hose.

Aren't Anti Static hoses suppose to be all GREEN ???  The hose that came with this model is black and for me there is some confusion on 2022 catalog.

If any one know please advise

Thanks !!

Anti static hoses can come in any color you can imagine. I thought it came with a silver/grey looking one. I guess it’s black now.

The silver / gray hoses have also, as far as I know, never been anti-static. Such as CT15 (574831).

I have seen sites that have the wrong description. Maybe the change from gray to black means that now it does have an anti-static hose but not the really good  (green &black) AS hose?

Lack of AS hose is (was?) most likely one of the reasons for the CT15 lower price.

Not everyone or application needs an anti-static hose. I was glad that the CT15 didn't come with one, hence saving me some money when I bought it.

The nice thing about the CT 15 is that while it comes with a non-AS hose, if at some time you need the AS feature, you just attach an AS hose...577158.

I'd like to use a CT 15 just for the Kapex with a 50 mm non-AS hose for easy Kapex arm movement however I also need Blue Tooth which isn't available for the CT 15.  [sad]

Snip.

I suppose the lack of Blue Tooth feature was another reason for its lower price.

Depening on where you live... if you ever want to add one of the features of the Mini to the CT 15, you might just as well get the Mini (or Midi) to begin with.

Price differences between Mini / CT-15 are bigger in the USA I think.

Correct, the new model/set comes with the new "RAS/CT" non-braided AS hose.

They have also severly pared down their hose options. The only non-AS one that seems to stick around is the huge D50 one for building site cleanups. All the rest are going out. Over here at least.
