They *did* work...

All the new bluetooth batteries and modules appear in searches but the product pages cannot be loaded too. Probably being updated. Hopefully.

....as am not exactly tech minded  [blink]...from what I know the web sites are refreshed with the new data over a period of time - early days but the info will be up asap

Can it really beat this one? Hmm, feeling sceptical.

Will definitely get a CTL Midi when it comes with the new hose with power on button!

From what I saw, the power on button on the hose is linked to a Bluetooth module that will be available for the CT 26/26/48. There is no module slot on the Midi, so I would assume there would have to be a redesign to enable the remote functionality. One can hope; or perhaps a cordless Bluetooth extractor is in the works? ;-)

Sadly, definitely no bluetooth for Midi.

That’s probably the same reason Rick doesn’t provide the Maxsys capability on the Mini or Midi. They both need different circuit boards to be enabled.  [sad]  I’d kill for that option on my Midi.

Sure looks nice. I've cut ridged foam on the table saw but even with ct22 connected it's still a mess. As a hobbyist I doubt I'll get one though, but it sure looks nice.

Do tell more about the new hose, the wrap and the on off.

Hi
The new hose is highly flexible and will slide over edges, such as FS guide rail......the image below will give an idea  [smile]

Thanks for the photo [member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member] , hose looks nice.

I like the fact that Festool have given the end user options in terms of the bluetooth switch on the hose for those who don't want to purchase the new bluetooth airstream batteries etc.

Pressing a switch on the business end of the hose is still more convenient than walking back and forth to the vac.
Also allows for the use of other branded cordless tools with the CT vac.

I don't need it but it looks pretty darn well designed, especially the top/bottom rail guide function.

[member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member] is the new hose also slick on the inside, or is it just a tight sleeve over the classic hose? I wonder how the ends are fitted on a slick hose, perhaps it's partially sealed on?

I.S.C.18V ... extraction
How does the extraction work when used with the rail/angle thingy?

Hi Gregor
The extraction nozzle moves down over the blade area and the hose fits above.....the immediate advantage also of the new hose type

[member=41214]Phil Beckley[/member] , is it correct to assume that the tool only cuts in one direction (like most jig saws) versus in both directions?

Peter

.....cuts one direction. The 'blade sets' have a stationary section and a moveable cutting blade. I have all the kits here and will post some images tomorrow
