Yesterday a very odd shaped package arrived at my door and low and behold it was a Festool Junkie Banner.  :) :D As I am more than a little warped I decided to hang it in my basement and add this very strange fellow to it. Please excuse the current renovations as the place is a wreck but hey it's mine.  8) Fred

Mr. West I presume???  That is a mighty impressive arsenal of Festool you got there!!!  Locked and loaded dude, locked and loaded!!!

I cannot think of a more appropriate banner to be hanging above this particular Mr. West's head.  He must be the Festool Junkie of ALL junkies:)

John

John, I beg to differ, I am maybe just more public than some but I know for a fact that I am a mere piker compared to many even here on the FOG.  8) Fred

Fred, I have two Festool banners, but I am envious and want one like yours! I guess I should have dropped all money with Timmy. Oh well.

Your space looks pretty big, but where the heck is the wood and your projects? I have 14 Festools and thought I was doing good, I guess I still am a little behind you.

Hi,

Great photo!  Now only if that guy blockin' the view of the Systainers hadn't been in the way. >:(

    Seth

AND he broke the dress code by not having a Junkie hat on!  Oh the shame... ;D ;D ;D

Fred do you clean those tools everyday?

My tools look used after the first day out of the box, yours look shiny new!

Oh I forgot, you sleep with those Festools so they have to be clean.  ;D

Timmy C sells those banners. I bought one for $ 1300.00 and Timmy is giving me a FREE Kapex!!!

I couldn't pass up a deal like that!!!

Fred, Is that your wife shooting you with your tools?

I'm sure my wife would love to take a shot at me if she knew what i've been spending on tools too! :o ;D

Fred,

Feel free to bring those systainers up here to get them "out the way" so you can clean up.

Okay, just for you, Since I'm such a nice guy,  I'll meet you half way so you can save some fuel bucks.  ;D

Scott W.

RW, you are weird and you do fit in. So where is the problem??? ;) Send me that hat, I would absolutely wear it.  ;D

Nick, that room is just very slowly being converted into part of my shop. The real parts so far are in far less room and in the garage. Yes, I do clean my tools as all good and respectful festoolians should.  :o 8)

Scott W. I don't have a junkie hat, Timmy, Timmy, Timmy.   ;) Colorado Cop, I too bought my banner for the low, low price of $1300 but had to throw in the Sawhelper as well. Consider yourself lucky.  :)

Woodenfish, that is actually my soon to be ex-fiance. She is an extremely wonderful woman whom I love dearly but she and I have severe religious differences. The soon to be demise of our relationship is killing us both.  :(

Seth, I tried extremely hard to get that guy to move but he was a total jerk.  :) ;) :D

My hat is off to Timmy. That young man can market and sell like nobodies business. So, for heavens sake do not pass this on.  :o 8) ::) Fred

Scott, what a guy you are. So, except for the systainers filled with the dominos, LS 32 system and Centrotec the rest are all empty. However, I am willing to trade you all of the empty systainers in exchange for your heavy iron such as your Cabinet Saw should you have one as well as any jointer 10" wide on the bed or bigger.  :o ::) 8) Don't see anyway for you to pass this up but we shall see.  ;) Fred

Nick, unfortunately it is very true and too sad to even really believe. Fred

Scott, I should be ready to come up right after the middle of June and could really use the break at that point. Ah man, there you go again. Now everyone that matters will know where to find Timmy. ;) :o Fred

I have had issues with my wife along the similar lines and I have just bended like a twig in the wind.
I am Catholic, she is Methodist and I am not practicing any religion since I was a  child. I do go with her to her church occasionally,
it makes her happy so it makes me happy in that respect.

After two x-wives I just do not have the strength and have learned to just keep my mouth shut on the religious issue.
All I know as I get older I know less so I  am not going to get it into it in case she is right and I am wrong and its not worth losing her over it.

At least I am home alone to watch my Sunday football in peace.

Good luck,

Nick

Nick, if only it were that easy here. And I do not mean to belittle your situation. She is a reformed born again and I am a non practicing episcopalion. I need to TRULY convert for her and I cannot do that as I do not believe in the severe exclusionism that her church practices. PLEASE no one take any offense at what I am writing.

Basically her church controls her as Festool controls me.  ::) Yes, I am making fun of this siuation as this thread is supposed to be about the wonderful banner that Timmy C. sent me out of the kindness of his wallet heart.  :) ;) My daughter, this group, my dogs and my tools, and yes Nick I sleep with them, are going to get me through this.  8) Fred
