I have a similar problem, my wife is a Methodist and I'm a born again Festoolian. Our biggest difference is that her religion still holds the belief that garages are for cars.

Fred, I don't mean to make light of your situation, but a little humor sometimes helps.
I'm also an Episcopalian (also non-practicing), and I've lost a few good lifetime friends who became born again Christians and then shunned me, and that hurts. You're losing someone much closer than that, and the hurt must be that much more. You have my sympathy.
