I had someone send mine from UK.  I don't remember how much the shipping was ( not too bad as I recall) but you can just use a currency converter to get an idea of the price from a UK Festool dealer website.

If that's the short one, it costs about US $60.00 not including VAT in Germany.  I have one I bought there recently.
If the OP isn't aware, it is a Stabila level with Festool's Logo.

So why possibly pay a premium price over the Stabila just to have a Festool logo?

It seems to me that there are clear times when the Festool logo is needed, eg Domino, t55, Kapex, Routers, Planers, and certainly most sanders, and some jigs/guides, but really a Festool badge on what is otherwise a reasonably good quality instrument made by someone else!!

For me it had as much to do with the length.  It is aprox 14"  , which is not a size that is made for the US market (that I know of). It is the longest one that will fit in a Systainer without going diagonally.  A similar length level in the US would be 16".
