Festool main catalogue for 2022

And, after a quick scroll, apart from the before mentioned Festool news in a couple of other threads, the TS 75 is also listed for 2022.

Thanks for posting this [member=71478]FestitaMakool[/member] ...for the US we're still stuck on the 2021 version.  [sad]

Some observations:

Noticed that all of the VacSys stuff is gone.

That PHC 18 phone charger adaptor is pretty cool.

They've implemented the kick-back technology used on the TSC K and added it to the QUADRIVE drill.

It'd be nice to have the HK 85 released into the US.

Noticed that the BS 105 is gone along with the RS 200 and the LS 130.

Almost all of the polishing stuff is still available except for the yellow coarse sponges and the black very fine waffle sponges for the RO 90 & RO 125.  [sad]

Do you think there are enough vacuums available...I counted 17.  [eek]

Wish we could order the D 50 MW-AS 50 mm hose by the metre. [sad]  I'd still like to put some on the Kapex and see if it's better than the 36mm stuff.

Glad to see the Twin Box bit holder is back...they were being offered on eBay for $60-$70.

The 'magazine for carpenters and joiners', available under the catalogue, are well worth a read.

Well, kind’a the same here, our national agent carry maybe even less than FT USA. Though dealers that carry the whole is available just across the border.

You noticed first!  [big grin] I thought I’d look into one later on, but now it seems uncertain. It hasn’t sold well here, very rare to see. It’s thanks to you I’ve noticed the usefulness, albeit expensive

That PHC 18 phone charger adaptor is pretty cool.

Yup! I’ll get one, along with my never used Makita USB adaptor  [huh] But I like the fact that for occasional use, the inductive charging is better and quicker for those occasional times needed sparing the hassle of a cable

Haven’t seen this, BS 105 is oddball though, but the uniqueness of the LS 130 is sad to see gone - Have seen a lot on the pre-owned market in Sweden, they seem to like it. Then again, Swedes do renovations, like us, and keep the old nice mouldings in the homes

Haha, yes - obsessed with vacuums, they are a FT strong point I think. And the consentration towards high selling products, and sadly less the low selling products that goes obsolete. Wonder if that’s a well thought trough strategy..

Wish we could order the D 50 MW-AS 50 mm hose by the metre. [sad]  I'd still like to put some on the Kapex and see if it's better than the 36mm stuff.

I’ve a short 36mm (1/2 a meter) connected to a short 50mm AS (The 50 AS is way to stiff to connect directly) From what I see it’s not any better that I see what you get with a short 36mm alone. This I BTW to a CT 26.

Glad to see the Twin Box bit holder is back...they were being offered on eBay for $60-$70.

That must be FT USA, it has been available here, as far as I can see for a long time. Strange as it’s universal ww.

Thanks for the tip Lincoln, it seems like a compilation of articles from the German site, but not spread all over. This differs from language to language. It’s always wise to check an English lingual page  [smile]

Not all of the Vac Sys stuff is gone; there's still a holdout on page 317. :)

You’re right, on page 319 in the Danish catalogue. But only the MFT/3 bracket.
Could it be a new version in the works? Festo is still one of the most highly regarded pneumatic manufacturers. A pneumatic system meant for sale under the Festool name would be something that they could “do in the dark”.

I did that, the shortest length possible to reach the cyclone. It does make a difference, provided you kind of forget about zero-fencing...

Ya, I kind of chuckled on that one...the latest orphan that no one loves. In the same organization section they could have included the various vacuum chucks or the extra line & disconnects that they still sell, but they didn't. Kind of like including in the current vac section a hose garage for a CT 22.  [popcorn]

Festo (pneumatics) ain’t part of Tooltechnic anymore, I think. Sold to a US-firm I think. But there may be links we do not know about, although these are often limited to the traditional family-owned businesses like Festool and Mafell (HolzHer?)...

I'm glad to see the twin box bit holder come back. I had 2 of them before the fire and could not get replacements after.

I may or may not have purchased a used drill once solely because it came with a twinbox...  Actually, because it came with that as well as the offset chuck.  The batteries from that drill run my Sys Rock more than they run the drill, too, since it's the only 12V Festool tool that I have.

Those Carpenter magazines were a good look through. The latest issue mentioned the new Kapex 60 cordless has optional feet that attach to use a Systainer Sys 1 as infeed/outfeed support. Interesting choice to not use a Sys M systainer.
