I'm sorry as I'm sure this must have been asked before, but is it possible to buy the accessories which come with the MFT/3 with accessories package deal - i.e. the swivel unit, support unit, angle stop, adjustable stop, guide rail FS 1080/2, deflector FS-AW and additional clamp for securing the stop rail to the V-groove?

I have the chance to buy the basic MFT/3 for a good price, but can't find anywhere the accessories which would make it the ideal table for my garage workshop.

Can anyone advise if this is possible, from Festool or elsewhere, and how much it would cost - I'm worried all of these individually or even as a kit but not with the table would make the deal less enticing.

Many thanks, James

Unfortunately not UNLESS you can find them in the classified section here.

Thank you for the quick response, I guess I keep saving for the full version.

[member=64807]jetset95[/member] I bet that if you put a want to buy ad in the classified section, someone would sell you theirs.

If you have room, a double MFT is great. I bought a full up MFT and a bare bones MFT and linked them together. Makes a wonderful work bench.

Forgive me, for I know very little about the MFT table at the moment - though I am researching building my own, and some time ago I searched out this link:http://festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tools-accessories/mft-guide-rail-pivots-on-a-normal-workbench/

Does this help in any way?  I'm not sure of all the terminology surrounding MFT tables, but perhaps the part numbers in that thread may prove useful to you?

EDIT: In the original thread, someone posted a link to the exploded view of an MFT3.  For me that link did not work, but I found this one:http://ekat.festool.de/login/jsp/ma...-Kunde-FT_US&password=Customer&design=festool - click "Workplace Organisation" then "MFT3" then "495314 MFT/3" - there are two exploded diagrams there.

If only I could make sense of the diagrams myself, I'd know which parts I needed - but I've never seen an MFT, so I'm not sure how to advise you from here as to what you want and what is available as a spare part (if what I have found is even what you want at all!)

Maybe here.

I would check eBay and Craigslist. I have seen people selling off all the MFT hardware when they purchased a second complete MFT unit. Not common but does show up at times.
The MFT is very useful even without the hardware. Just insert 20mm dogs of some sort.

I have a new in box set I might part with.  Send me an email.

I am going to post in this thread again, because I kept my eyes open for the answer to jetset95's question, partly because I was interested in finding the answer for myself, as I'd be keen to get my hands on these components too.

The following video, kindly made by David Stanton (who is also a paster on these forums) actually provides all the part numbers that jetset95 was looking for as far as I know:

I do realise the part numbers will be Australian, however, my understanding is that part numbers are the same worldwide for Festool products (and apologies if my understanding here is incorrect)!

I was able to find a source for individual Festool MFT/3 accessories.  I wanted to get just the support units for the guide rail; parts #497022 and #497023.  (Festool did not offer these separately.)  I did find that M&M Tool and Machinery in Utah listed them as parts that could be ordered through their website mmtoolparts.com.  They just had part numbers listed on their site, no photos of the parts.  I took a chance and a week after I ordered I received an email that M&M did not have the parts in stock and would have to get them from the manufacturer.  Sure enough they did and after about 10 more days the two parts arrived and I am a happy wood cutter.

you could buy a set of bench dawgs, part/qwas etc and use them instead of the reg MFT kit. Then monitor the classifieds and craigslist/ebay for the components.

some folks prefer the dogs to the components
