Happy Monday, all.

Some of you may have heard that Festool had introduced the MFT FX clamping set for release beginning today. Originally, it was limited to just 10 per dealer, but now we have been able to pick up additional inventory. We expect to have more of these in stock by the end of the week. If you're interested, I would suggest ordering soon since quantities are very limited.

(2) MFT-SP Clamping Elements, 488030
(4) Clamping Elements Knobs
(4) Small Dog Stops
(2) Low-Profile Dog Stops / Bars
(1) SYSTAINER SYS 1 T-LOC

Price - $299

Any chance we can order the insert?

[member=61962]Nick561[/member], pretty sure [member=57769]TylerC[/member] from Festool was asked that earlier and said they were not available. But, let's see what he says.

Will all the components be available to order separately?

You can get the Festool quick clamps and clamping elements, and the Systainer any time from a Festool dealer. The planing stops and the dogs look to be re-badged Veritas items, you can get those from Lee Valley.

Lee Valley also has a nice MFT clamping set with similar items, and some different ones, at about the same $ as the current Festool offering

I wonder why these are just going to be a limited supply and not as something that Festool would release continually?
Surely would make sense to keep it as a continued supply run.
If I was in the market for (another) MFT I would probably order the set then too.

I wish all the components were sold separately as most current users would have both types of clamps already, but the dogs and bar stops at least would be a welcome addition to have as would the insert to create your own collection.

I'm not a fan of these limited run products. I have the clamping elements, a bunch of quick clamps and systainers for days. Just release the other components separately please.
I will go ahead and get the others from Lee Valley, I didn't realize they were available.
I don't care for the fact that I can't order order individual imperial brad point bits or forstner bits.
Yet another failure on festool's part to recognize that they cater to not only hobiest but to professionals

Bump. We were able to get some additional units, so we still have some left for anyone who's interested.  [smile]

There are plenty of vendors for drill bits. I would not limit my options to what Festool sells.

At this time of this post, we have only 2 of the Centrotec Sets left. These have been officially discontinued by Festool. If this is on your list, consider ordering soon.  [wink]
