Festool Module edge router MFK 700 EQ/B-Plus

I've purchased the Festool Module edge router MFK 700 EQ/B-Plus.

I fit kitchens and I needed a decent all round edging trimmer.

Does anyone use one for laminate worktop ends? If so what extras are needed if any?

I didn't buy the set cause the only accessory I think I might need is FT-MFK 700 1,5°. Which would be cheaper than buying the set.

If someone could advise as to what bit I need and the best setup I'd be grateful.

Most third party bits won't fit the 1.5 base unless you do the Half Inch Shy's modification of the base (http://www.halfinchshy.com/2010/12/extending-capacity-of-mfk-700.html) but this, of course will void your warranty!  The Festool bits made to fit are, of course, very expensive.

Don't know if anyone has a work around for this problem?
