Two moths ago I had a vision of this router table. Well, I finally got it wrapped up, thanks to my assistant who is an amazing painter. Basically, when he holds a brush the angels in heaven sing. Im really pleased with how the color scheme accents the individual parts of the project. I would like to thank my good friend BuilderBob for the inspiration for the applied molding and all his support and insight during the build. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I will, it has really brightened up the shop. thanks Eric

Looks well designed, very nicely made, beautifully finished.  Nice work by you and whoever helped with it.

Jeff

Eric. Awesome dude. And a real Festool kiss ass with those colors !!!!!!  Lol

Thanks for sharing buddy. And the pre show text. Thanks

Thanks guys, those pics were taken from my phone and it looks like black, but that is actually Anthracite from Tanos and sometimes used on Festool stuff. Wow, I need to get a life?

Yeah, get a life.  Woof

Nice work Eric.  Very cool.  Looks suuuuuuper bright.  Is that the exact green?

WOW  [scared]

What colours are you choosing for the carpet and curtains! [big grin]

Sean, I had the best paint store in CT match it to a green, grey, and anthracite latches from the systainers. It brightens up the shop in a really nice way. I plan on doing an MFT cart and a Kapex cart this year and will go ahead and paint them too. Makes the shop more fun, Eric

Wow!  So I guess that definitely is spot on.  You went all out.

Looking forward to seeing the other two.

I think it's AWESOME that it actually does brighten up the room and makes the vibe that much better.  I find that to be very cool and just one more reason why the project was worthwhile that folks probably wouldn't consider beforehand.

Sean, I was stnding in BuilderBobs garage and looking at a project he was working on and the idea came to me for the recessed panel and applied molding and Ive always wanted to do a tri-color scheme and why not use my blessed Festools colors. Everything trim wise that I do is white or off white. This is my world, Eric

My wife just asked why you have a fence system mounted on your kitchen island....

Your wife must be a very forgiving lady if she was under the assumption someone would paint their kitchen island such obscene colors ;)
