Festool OSC 18 Vecturo

I bought the OSC Vecturo 18 basic bare unit which came with just the systainer and a blade
I also bought the accessories elsewhere, both genuine Festool, the problem is the attachment ring that fits over the blade holder will not fit, as shown in the photos, am I missing something

I can't seem to add any more photos? so it is difficult to explain

It’s looks to me that your attachment ring fits the OS400 and not the OSC 18.

Yes I think you are right, I did not know that there was two different models, I have just sent a message to Festool UK to see if I can buy the correct ring and will it fit the stand I have? my mistake for not checking properly

I’m not sure if the attachment stand are interchangeable. My dead OS400 is here at my shop and the OSC is at the job site. I’ll try to get them together later today and report back to you.

For some reason I’m thinking not. I might have had already tried the switch with no luck.

There was a thread on the FOG about 4-5 years ago about the differences between the 2 tools. If I remember correctly, I think Rick is right.

Yes it looks like the OSC shoulder is approximately 5mm/3/16” larger diameter.

Thanks Rick,  guybo, and Cheese,  Festool UK have confirmed that it is not suitable, it should be the (203258 set) I have arranged to return it to Amazon and get the proper set
