Hi all

this is one of my attempts  [embarassed]. It represents my first attempt at videoing, editing and youtubing.. there was supposed to be one on the TS75 but i managed to muck up somehow and turns out i didn't actually video that so I hope the various bugs and spiders living in the shed enjoyed me talking into the ether. this was a secondary video to build on the TS75 but now it is my "how to" video. -Shane said this did not have to be "professional" and despite my best efforts this entry lives up to (or down to) this qualification.

Untidy Shop - Thanks, Close but no cigar in terms of location, my favourite distributor is Specialised Joinery Supplies in Burnett St, Hobart (shameless plug - no affiliation just a happy customer) but there are three or four other places scattered around the state.

Lucky I was using windows Live Movie maker that came packaged with my computer - If you happen to be using that on the Home screen there is an option for title, caption and credits.. selecting caption allowed me to add text and define how long it stayed on screen for.

the green intro was selecting a background with a RGB value of 66,180,60 (thanks to mattfc FOG discussion 19 Sept 2009 post 7 in response to Festool color sample)

Remember it is like one ticket per entry in a draw.  [smile]

Consequently after spending the day erecting under deck Colorbond, I am about to go down to the workshop and see if I can finish 'The  Versatile Octapus'.  Every time I took a break today it seemed  that Andrew had posted yet another entry!  [eek] [big grin]

Untidy I was planning on five all up.. I managed to stuff up filming on three.. so was left with two and a half.. I don't feel they are overly brilliant but as a first attempt not bad.. just need to hire a camera person, script writer, set designer, director, producer, an adviser on technical matters and then they might rise from rank amateur to novice. Would love some feedback on the finished product if anyone gets a chance.
