Hello.
This is my first post here at this forum.
Not sure if this is the correct place for this post.
Great website and some very cool members here.
I was just wondering if anyone had any info on the Festool PF1200 Milling Cutter tool reaching the states?
Thank you.

Well, welcome to the FOG. Am not sure about the cutter, but you may want to consider changing your screen name to something a little less out there.

First of all: Welcome to the FOG !
It is indeed a great forum , sporting a friendly atmosphere and there are indeed some great people around.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer to your question - I don't even know IF the PF1200 will be marketed in the US.
Seeing it's rather a niche type of tool, it's all in the hands of the Festool marketing guys - OTOH: at that pricepoint, a couple dozen sold would gain serious revenues I guess.

Seeing that the PF1200 is a specialized AlClad type plate-milling saw, with a price-point that puts the Kapex and the OF2200 in bargain-basement territory, I'm willing to go out on a limb here and assume the OP is a professional photographer, specialising in nude photography. Seeing that these kind of plates are often used in displays and large multi-picture frames I'm kind of guessing that this question is somehow related to displaying pictures, for instance in a public exhibition or an art gallery. At least on our side of the pond, nude photography is considered an artform, and one of the most difficult forms of portrait-type photography to master.

So I would not mind at all if the OP was to post some pictures of his work in the "member projects" section,  showing of the beauty of great photography AND decent display- / pictureframebuilding.
Ofcourse, YMMV.

Regards,

Job
