Hi,
First post here on FOG, though, I have been browsing here for a short while...

I have recently acquired a handful of Festool tools, MFT’s and systainers.
Among the first, I bought a CS 50EBG Precisio SET, as it seemed light, compact and very capable. Sold my Bosch XC10, wich was too heavy to shift around.
I’m looking forward to hear what fellow owners of this saw have done, regarding use of the T tracks among other modifications added to the saw. Tips and tricks 😊

I noticed that a few here mentioned that the LA combined with side extension rubbed in the transition between the side table and saw chassis. Mine did too, at first attempt.
I did adjust the top aluminium boards in relation to the bottom of the V-groove profile, to match the corresponding V-groove on the saw itself. It now moves smoothly in the transition (Did also move that glide pad under the LA further in towards the table, as most passed outside the aluminium top table, from factory..)
I have done almost all adjustment points over, as there were slight mismatch here and there on my saw.
I do find that the more advanced things get, the more it needs to be calibrated when set up [huh]

I plan  to use it for finer work, interior and fitting, hence the curiosity to those you who use it extensively, also with “SET” attachments.

Mostly I will cut plywood, lighter construction/finishing wood, skirting and MFT.
Sometimes also solid oak.

Hope to hear your experiences!

Regards,
