did the festool rep say "test a new ts55" or "test a new version based on the ts55"?

Hi Justin he wanted me to test the new  version of the saw and he asked what new features would you like to add. I read on the russain website Festool are testing a planer thicknesser ,has anyone heard about it.

Dont worry woodguy I am sure they will try and corner the market in site portable thicknessers like the Dewalt 733.

With top end machinery like Sedgwick, Felder etc they would have a job trying to corner that market.  [unsure] Wouldn't they????

i have browsed the russian festool website and i can see no mention of a festool thicknesser.

Well, that's a link to page one of a Festool thread with 150 pages. I checked a few of the latest pages and I didn't see anything about a planer/thicknesser.

Well I got my phone call today it was basically lots of questions on the TS55 if I had any improvements etc etc a couple of things that maybe coming but I dont know if I should say too much. At the end of the conversation he said that he is coming to the UK later this year and would it be ok to visit me, no mention of a new TS55 but he must be bringing something over.
