Check ebay.  I recently bought one of these sets from Intelligent Workshop in the UK.

The ship to the US?

They can ship some stuff to the US.  It's best to contact them and see what can be shipped and for how much.  I will also offer this, if you only have a passing interest or aren't realistic about shipping costs, I suggest not wasting your time or more importantly, too much of the theirs inquiring.

I went to the Intelligent Workshop site and noticed that many Festool items are on "special". Fairly good discounts on a couple dozen items. How come we don't see the same type of sales here in the US? I hate to use the words, but "price fixing" comes to mind. I pay whatever the price is to get Festool items, but it just seems odd that some countries have much more liberal pricing policies than we have on Festools here.

the ratchet set in the UK part numbers are 497881, 4mm to13mm sockets 19 insert bits 2 extensions, centrotec handle and ratchet plus various adapters and extensions , hope that helps, the item is marked as 1/4 - CE RA - SET 37.

Looks like you can pick this up from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de, with shipping to my house, they both end up around $125 US.

Be VERY careful.  Festool Germany lists this for around €120, not including VAT.  That is about U.S. $165.00.  I would be VERY suspicious about whether the unit listed on Amazon is actually the 497881 set.  It would be a shock if you could get the set with U.S. shipping for $125.00.

The price WITH VAT in Germany is €142,68.  Without VAT, it is €119,33.  Current exchange rate is about €1,00 = $1.40.

The part number IS correct for the set, and it is still available outside NA. (I have one, and have purchased for others when I was still in Germany).
