Can't seem to find it on the intelligent workshop site.  Is there another source?

Try Warren @ toolfest.uk

Yes, Warren would be my first port of call.

It looks as though Intelligent Workshop has gone out of business - the web site is dead and the domain name is up for grabs.

I got one for a dear friend of mine last year about this time. I found it on special for 80 GBP.

Thats roughly about $130 USD at the time.

Its a nice bit of kit

Can I ask - are all the screwdriver tips centrotec? One thing that holds me back from buying a Festool CXS is the lack of compatibility with existing hex bits I have. This little kit could be the catalyst if those bits are centrotec.  [wink]

In the picture above, see the the short and long extensions near the front of the Systainer?  You can use your existing hex bits with those.

Thanks for that, but sorry, I should probably have phrased it better - are the bits in the set Centrotec bits?

The extensions, and socket adapter are Centrotec, but the screwdriver bits are regular 1/4" x 1" hex.

Seth
Thanks for that - exactly what I needed to know.

Minnesota here as well (need to update profile). I haven't been down to Seven Corners in awhile, what happened? I know some of the old spots are gone now.

As you have the CXS, you also have a nice right angle drive that your new kit will work seamlessly with for delicate situations that a battery driver is to aggressive for.

Here I use it in a video I did a while back.

You can also just get a bit ratchet and not have to deal w/ the goofball adapter...
