Cordless Screw Gun DWC 18-4500 Li-Basic USA has gone live
I wonder why only the 4500 version ever goes to recon. I thought the 2500 is the proper gun screwing into wood framing.

The 4500 is the only one sold in North America to my knowledge.  If a 2500 ever showed up, it would have had to come from across the pond.

I haven't posted this is a while, thought some might find the data interesting. For those who have not seen it before, for the past 4 months, I have had a script running that samples the Recon website every minute, records any updates, and emails me about tools that I am looking to buy. The script will miss some things that sell in under a minute (e.g. based on postings here, I know it has missed at least 2 DF 500s), but I believe it has caught most of the for sale items.

As I pretty much have everything that I want, I haven't paid much attention to this lately, but I found the cumulated data useful this week when I decided to look for a Rotex RO 90. It was helpful to see how often they came up and how long they lasted (i.e. while they come up fairly often, about every other week, they tend to sell pretty quickly, usually in < 5 minutes). Allowed me decide to wait a bit to see if it showed up and the knowledge to know that I should jump on it quickly once it does. I was able pick up the kit this morning.

Hope you find it helpful in your recon shopping.

Vecturo OS 400 EQ Set is up and ready for purchase (or ready to sit for hours on end).

Theoretically last item of the day, since the "Wow, that went Fast!" is listed next.

DF XL 700 apparently sold out before the listings went live today, so it was skipped.

Multi-Mode Sander ROTEX RO 150 FEQ-Plus is posted.

Cordless impact drill TID 18 HPC 4,0 I-Plus is listed

(a TID / T18 combo is up later today if you need/want both)

Well, that escalated quickly...  While I was eating breakfast and driving to work, just about everything else sold.

Last up for today (for now?) is Jigsaw CARVEX PSB 420 EBQ-Plus

At 6:45 EST the sale had not started-Vecturo was still  up from yesterday.  So whenever it started items went quick.

By 7:20-ish EST, the OF 2200 was up, and stayed up for a little bit.  I vacillated for quite some time before deciding to pass on the opportunity and was hoping to get the DF 700.  Alas, neither was meant to be this time.

I see on today's Recon lineup, they have one Vecturo corded set at 50% off and on the next page one for 40%.  Both have list price of $630 so assume they are the same model.

They just opened all items up for sale instead of the one at a time.

An island of misfit toys, for sure.

Not surprised that the TXS and CXS disappeared almost immediately.

Good on them for doing something a little different leading up to the holiday weekend (in the US) and with the backlog of Planex and Vecturo models.  I don't expect this mode to last beyond the holiday weekend and/or beyond this list of items, and I'm okay with that.
