Also I think that 110v converter device is a nifty addition.  If you later buy any of the other battery operated sanders (Delta or RTS rectangle sander) the converter will work with them.  I know your feeling-that is a bunch of money for a sander.  I went through the same thing last year.  Do you know if the battery(s) is Bluetooth or not? That is important whenever you get a dust extractor, but probably not right now.

That's partly why I jumped on a -Set version when I got my RTSC.  In theory, I can get an ETSC or DTSC Basic when the need arises for either of those shapes.

I believe all of the current "Ergo" batteries are Bluetooth, but I don't know if the originals were or not.  I got my RTSC-Set almost 2 years ago, I should check the batteries on that one (I didn't get a BT extractor until this past month, so I never worried about it).
