Festool ripping blades are all ATB?

Why are Festool's ripping blades all ATB?  Any reason why I shouldn't have them reground with flat-top teeth?  I don't mind switching blades for rips and crosscuts.

On a table saw FTG tracks better at higher feed rates.  A track saw is slaved to rail so the ATB rip blade won't want to wander.  FTG will also require more feed pressure to run because it chops wood out of the way while an ATB slices.  Based on the saw's electronics I'm not sure the extra strain would be worth it.  FTG will have  better edge life but if you're doing a lot of ripping in wood you'd be better off using a table saw for efficiency.  All I use a track saw for in wood is straight lining and edge retention isn't too bad with the ATB blades.

Freud has some nice new blades that fit ts55 and one is nice ripper.
