On a table saw FTG tracks better at higher feed rates. A track saw is slaved to rail so the ATB rip blade won't want to wander. FTG will also require more feed pressure to run because it chops wood out of the way while an ATB slices. Based on the saw's electronics I'm not sure the extra strain would be worth it. FTG will have better edge life but if you're doing a lot of ripping in wood you'd be better off using a table saw for efficiency. All I use a track saw for in wood is straight lining and edge retention isn't too bad with the ATB blades.
