Festool Road School - Coming to a city near you! (Program ended)

Hi Shane. Is it possible to publish a schedule of these shows in a format similar to a concert listing. It is a pain to scroll through all these replies each time to see if my area is going to get a show. I think you are doing a terrific job on this forum and if you have the time I think this would make it easier for members to check out the show dates and would probably boost attendance as well. I for one would love to attend a show and rub elbows with some fellow Festooleins! Once again great job your doing on the forum and please do not take this post like I am trying to tell you how to do your job.

Hi Tom,

Festool USA lists all of the upcoming events:

I will quote the late John Lennon on this one, "I should have known better!" Thanks for the link!

An email is also going out to those who are subscribers and I have their zip code. Anyone in about a 50 mile radius will get emailed.

What about the Chicago area?

Dates will be posted as they become scheduled. Virtually the entire country will be covered over the course of the year. I don't know when Chicago will be scheduled.

Allen is in Jackson Hole, WY today doing a road school event until 6p. Swing by if you're in the area.

If you're in our email database and I have your zip code, you'll get an email of events in your area.

Allen K is one busy guy. Saturday, 4 May he will be doing a Festool Road School at Anderson Plywood Sales, the Festool dealer in Culver City, CA. That has to be a very long drive!

Of course it will be great to see Allen K back in Los Angeles County and to double-check his Festool van for road damage.

Any way to broaden the radius to 100 miles?  I find it unlikely 55904 will ever get an email otherwise.

Move back to civilization!  [poke]'

No dealers within 50 miles? Yeah, I can probably broaden it. I just didn't expect that people would drive more than an hour.

Within reason I would drive to another state for one of these sessions and make a day of it.

Just saw this thread- by chance I'm flying to LA on the 5th- looks like i'll miss the event there, and a chance to meet the knowledgeable Mr Adams, and others, by one day..!
That leaves the question of when will the Road School stop by the NYC area?
Looking forward to it.

We do have a dealer in town, but I've never caught wind of them holding any other Festool event like a demo day, so I doubt they'll bring in the Road School.  Pretty sad for a down of 100k people with over 30,000 educated professionals working for a large medical institution and thus fully capable of affording Festools.

Some of the first events were in Santa Rosa, San Rafael and San Fran areas. I don't think there will be any others in that general vicinity in the coming months.

Thanks, saw them too late but those were too far anyway. I know Sacramento is overshadowed by the SF Bay area but there's about 2.5 million folks in the Sac Metro area and driving to SF area is usually a PITA. If you haven't yet you might want to consider a stop in Sacramento as well in the future.

Everyone going to the Anderson Plywood Road School event at 8 A.M. on Saturday 4 May in Culver City, CA,  this morning I had a reminder call from Terry in their Customer Service department.

If you do not get an e-mail from them on Friday morning, phone her for detailed parking instructions.
