I heard a rumor festool was coming out with some roofing tools.  Can anyone confirm this?

dont think they will as the protool range is fine for roofing if you want to spend that sort of money

Welcome to the forum.

Festool's focus is on ultra-precise, portable tools. So, I would say that rumor is false. I certainly don't know of anything.

Are you saying I don't have to be ultra-precise when doing a roof?

I just had my C-12 and TS-55 on a roof yesterday. [big grin]

Using your C12 as a hammer on roofing nails and your TS55 to cut shingles doesn't count.  [poke]

Yeah but, that is the straightest cut in for a ridge vent anyone will ever see. [big grin]

Dude, you've got a problem.  We might need to have a CT intervention
