Festool Rotex 150

Hi Festool experts,
I saw an ads for a used Festool Rotex 150 that the seller bought it in 2016.  I assume that the sander is the older model (the new model was released in 2018).  This old model will have different sanding pad (less holes on the pad).  Does the new pad that comes with the 2018 model work with this old sander?

Yes, the multi-jetstream 2 pads are a direct replacement for the older pads.

Yes - I recently bought a Rotex 150 with the older pad, and replaced it with a new multi-jetstream 2 pad. Works like a charm.

Not only will the current pad work on the Rotex 150 (and the 150/3 or 150/5 of the same time period) but they also add the benefits of the improved dust extraction flow...so it's an upgrade!
