Well, I guess that's off the table for now. The cordless Kapex that is as it's been 2 years
since this rumor was mentioned and nothing has emerged that I know of.
I would like to replace my aging DW708 and when I do I would prefer a cordless tool.
Any rumors about a cordless Kapex in the next year or so? I see Bosch has a cordless
version (GCM18V-12GDCN) of their glide arm saw available now.

Doresoom Tool Reviews made a video about the patents he found, so actually it's more than a rumor. Bit more info about it (link to original patent). No idea when or if it's ever coming out.
