So I am new to festool and want to get some swag.  Does anyone have any experience with the festool safety glasses? Good/bad?

I did a search online to buy them and can't find them so if anyone has a source that would be great!

i too am searching for this "swag" seems like a promotional item at one time. so im stuck using non festool glasses which makes my job more dull.

I got a pair and they are really comfortable.  No they aren't for sale.  There are 3 items I would trade them for, (but only a fool would agree to). I believe they were part of the swag that was given for entering the video contest for 2013 Festool Connect.

I'm on my second pair, first pair I got as swag and shredded them the first time I tried cleaning them. Got a second pair at lee valley just before they quit selling them and they are pretty decent so long as you are careful cleaning them. They are comfortable, clear, and don't fog up. I believe they are rebranded uvex.

A pair used to come with the EHL 65 planer, in a handy soft case. They're good, but no better than any other pair of decent glasses.

They sell them here in the UK (about £13 / $20) however as far as I can tell they are just rebranded UVEX specs.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but any one know what model UVEX the Festool Safety glass were? And is that style still made?

The glasses shown in the link above are Uvex i-VO.

Off the top of my head, the lens shape of the Uvex i-VO looks similar to the Uvex Genesis and Genesis XC.  The temple pieces are different between these models though.
