I've enjoyed using the new hose.  It would have been nice if Festool made just the sleeve available. 
Managing the hose has been easier for me.  I've recommended the new sleeved hose to several other guys and they've reported back to me that they liked the new hose.
A couple things to keep in mind.  The new sleeved hose will not work with the Oneida Ultimate Dust Deputy.  The new hose has 2 tabs inside the Hose Sleeve-Rotating Connector ( the part that fits into the Ct outlet).  So if you're using the UDD, the sleeved hose will need some type of adaptor like a no-hub coupling.
Also, the outside diameter of the tool end of the sleeved hose is slightly smaller than the standard 27mm hose.  So using the Festool cleaning set is not a perfect fit.  It will work, but the curved tube can pop out on you if your not careful.

These (and the larger model) don't appear to be on sale.  Aren't they a dust extractor accessories?

I'm trying to decide between this model, the larger version and the beater brush model. [unsure]

Question:  Does the 452908 floor nozzle work with both the 36 and 50mm hoses?

And is the same true for the larger version (#452910)?  I assume the website is being updated for that one too. 

Another question:  Can I squeeze a 27mm rotating connector (#452892 [hose-to-vac connector]) on the Mini's 32/27mm tapered hose?  I'd like a straight connector to use with my tapered hose on a wye connecter.

The 452908 is for the 27/36mm hoses. The 452910 is for the 50mm hose. I will update the descriptions on the website accordingly.
