Festool sale at Tool Tech near Brockville (Canada)

I just happened to be on Kijiji and noticed that Tool Tech  near is selling off their Festool inventory - prices are pretty much 25% off everything. I wish I lived a little closer - It's a long drive from Hamilton.

I think the TT website has been down for weeks. Not sure what's up.

Well they say they are "liquidating" all Festool so either they are not selling Festool any longer or they are going out of business. Actually they are lower than U.S. prices by about 7% and you don't have to go the the U.S. or pay shipping or lose 5% on exchange so it's a good deal

Yeah I was just making a lame joke about Festool's pricing between borders.

Anyway, someone's getting a deal. Too bad about about ToolTech dropping out of the game. I believe they had free shipping on Festool orders across Canada.

I know, the pricing drives me a little crazy too, not just Festool but I can't figure out why some things - Apple products, etc. are 5% more and others are 15% more or better, even when the dollar is at par or higher.

Looks like the website is back online, but there is no mention of Festool. In addition, Tool Tech is no longer listed on Festool Canada's dealer list.
