Festool Shop

Since I dont use my table saw and  my stationary tools anymore. I went from a packed shop where I could barely walk around to a festool shop with more room that I know what to do with. I completely downsized. Here are some photos of my shop now. Its a bit messy as I have 2 projects going and packing stuff for my move. I also added some photos of a couple of projects I built completely with festool other then router bits etc. BTW, the projects are still in work, the walnut media  center still need the hardware and glass in the doors, the oak cab is going in my BIL kitchen for small appliance storage, I still need to make the doors, which I ripped the stock using Toms method and the 850 planer with stand as a jointer . The CMS will be used to make the doors.

Plus I have a photo of how I use my CT 26 with my delta planer. It doesnt collect all the dust but it does a pretty good job.

yeppers brotherman,

my delta table saw, jet 6" jointer, delta rockwell floor drill press. huge cast iron router table with a sliding table, PC 7518 and 690 router w/ accessories , biscuit jointer , pc planer and a bunch of misc stuff are all in my buddies barn in oregon…

I havent used them in quite a while.

Awesome!  You can do pretty much anything with a Festool shop...I might go the same route one of these days...my shop is certainly crammed to the max and it would probably make me more productive and more enjoyable to have some space to move around and think.  Now I spend a lot of time transferring stuff from one spot to another in order to use it and very inefficient.  Great looking entertainment center, BTW...

Thank you scot, Ill post another one when I finish getting the glass and put the hardware on.

I tell ya man its nice being able to work on something with out bumping into something or getting my shirt hung up on something.

My bud who I gave the stuff to had a 12 or 16' trailer full of stuff. I didnt really know how much stuff I had until we loaded that trailer up.

Came out very nice...make sure you wrap it well for the move (assuming you are taking the piece with you).

I've got to ask, how do you manage to eliminate a drill press from the mix? I anxiously wait for the day I have floor space to add one, the bigger the better.

Quite simple really, I never used it. It was in a place where it was a hassle to get to and plug in , remember my shop was full, I had to move stuff to use stuff and alway bumped into something , got my shirt hung up on something everytime i was moving things. So I just never used it to much of a hassle.

So I figured out how to do what I needed w/o it.
