Festool Stopper CS 70 LA (488062 ) in combination with the mft table

Has any one tried to use the cs70 rip fence on the mft table. I was curious and tried but found the fence does not move freely . I am wondering if anyone has tried this successfully . Am I trying to make it do something it can't ? or is it due to good old fashion operator error .

Since I have a CS 70 LA on my VL, I just tried it and slid it over onto the MFT. It fits, but doesn't play well. Maybe because the HDF-top is not half as smooth as the plastic (?) strips on the shorter sides of the VL?
