Here's a quick look at the suction hose holder. It's a holder used to lift the vacuum hose off the floor/ground to help eliminate the hose from catching on the edge of the work surface and/or from being a trip hazard.

The hose holder is a loop on the end of long rod that inserts into the top of the CT 22, 33 (and the larger 44 and 55) as well as the new Ct26 and 36 vacs. The hose holder don't work with the VT Mini or Midi. It's all metal and lifts the hose off the ground to about 36 1/2" (930 mm).

In the picture below I'm using the hose holder and my MFT/Kapex to do some sanding. You can see from the picture the hose is up high enough to not hang up on the edge of the table.

There is a small hole in the top of the CT vac that the end of the holder simply inserts into. If you look closely at the first picture on this page you'll notice the holder also works with the hose garage attached to the CT.

The hose will slide though the coiled loop in the end of the holder with some resistance during use. The resistance means you have to sometimes tug on the hose to get enough slack to work. Another nice thing is that it is fast and easy to install and remove so it's available when you want it and can taken off when you don't. While this isn't a perfect accessory is an improvement over having the hose getting caught on the edge of the work table or tripping over the hose on the ground.
