About a month ago I got a request from Festool to complete a survey and was offerred a $10 Amazon gift card for my input. The request came directly to my email address,  the same email address that they have on file.

I was asked a bunch of questions about sanders from other manufacturers,  price I paid,  intended uses etc....

So my question is where is my gift card?

Was it this one:http://festoolownersgroup.com/ask-festool/email-survey/msg485334/#msg485334

I dug around a bit on this today. It IS legit. It's from a third-party research firm that Festool hired. We are mostly interested in responses from people who are NOT currently Festool customers. If you have bought a Festool product in the past, please disregard it. If you haven't, we'd appreciate your feedback.

Misleading....
So company that Festool hired lied about a $10 Amazon gift?
Who ever Festool hired is not doing Festool any favors.

Thats the last time I share my opinion with Festool

Mr Koolaid, what did direct opinions.com have to say in response to your inquiry?

I don't think there is anything definite here about them not coming through with the gift card is there?  My personal experience with this type of thing is that it can  take a long time to get the perk. I have had similar things  take as much as 8 weeks. I guess we don't really know yet.

Great movie from the '80s called Better Off Dead in which the paper boy goes to no ends to get his $2, always shown saying "I want my two dollars" just before he runs into something or goes off a cliff.
